Pam Wiedenbeck serves as President and Founder of Plans Made Perfect, LLC. She is dedicated to working with individual Project Managers and Supervisors so that they can improve their communications and human relations skills.
Experience:
Ms. Wiedenbeck is currently working and has worked since 2004 as a contract trainer for the California Institute of Technology Center for Technology and Management Education (Caltech CTME). She actively teaches and develops curricula for the Project Management Certificate Program. During this period she has also worked as a consultant for a large financial management company, another consulting company and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
She worked in both consulting and management roles at SEI Information Technology from 1988 to 2004. As a senior project manager specializing in large-scale, custom application integration and roll outs, she has worked on projects for large financial services and quick service restaurant companies. Her specialty was rescuing projects in trouble.
Prior to working as a consultant, Ms. Wiedenbeck served as Operations Manager at SPSS, Inc. Prior to that, she was a Staff Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory where she worked on design and development of innovative detectors for both medical and high energy physics environments. She has also taught science and mathematics to junior and senior high school students in a private school environment.
Education & Certifications:
Ms. Wiedenbeck earned a B.S. in Physics from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Planetary Science from The California Institute of Technology. She later completed the Executive M.B.A. program at The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at The Claremont Graduate University. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP), as certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Volunteer Work:
She is an active community volunteer. She is an active member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and a 5-time past president of Southern California Genealogical Society and an active volunteer with the French-Canadian Heritage Society of California. She is a 2-time past president of the La Canada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association where she is current Float Construction Chair. She is an active volunteer for the Los Angeles Chapter of PMI assisting with the monthly Pasadena Breakfast Meeting. She served on the Board of Directors for St. Philip the Apostle school for 6 years. During her board tenure, she advised the principal’s committee on technology during the installation of the school’s electronic learning solutions.
